About This Course
Master the geometric reasoning and spatial thinking skills that appear in the most challenging Junior Maths Challenge questions. This course focuses on the shape and space problems that often determine Gold certificate achievement and qualification for follow-on rounds.
What you’ll learn:
📐 Advanced Geometry Angle relationships in complex diagrams, properties of polygons, circle theorems, and the geometric insights needed for questions 16-25.
📏 Area and Perimeter Mastery Composite shapes, shaded regions, optimization problems, and the techniques for finding areas when shapes are combined or overlapped.
🎯 Coordinate Geometry Working with coordinates beyond the basics, distance and midpoint applications, and geometric problems solved using algebraic methods.
⚡ Geometric Problem-Solving Strategies Learn to identify key geometric relationships, choose between different solution approaches, and work systematically through multi-step geometry problems.
