Syllabus change from 2025: From June 2025, Papers 1 and 2 are non-calculator. Papers 3 and 4 remain calculator papers. All papers before June 2025 allowed calculators.

About the exam
Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580) is the world’s most popular international maths qualification. It is tiered: Core candidates sit Papers 1 and 3 (targeting grades C to G), while Extended candidates sit Papers 2 and 4 (targeting grades A* to E).
From the 2025 syllabus onwards, one paper at each tier is non-calculator (Paper 1 for Core, Paper 2 for Extended) and one allows a scientific calculator (Paper 3 for Core, Paper 4 for Extended). Each paper is worth 50% of the total mark.

The current syllabus covers 2025 to 2027. Exams are available in the June and November series. Cambridge restricts public access to most past papers, so only the most recent sitting and specimen papers are freely available. More papers may be available via the official Cambridge International website.
