The Mathsaurus Discord server is now closed – 28 Feb 2023
Thank you all so much for being a part of the Mathsaurus Discord server. This server was created during lockdown to help students keep on top of maths at a time when many were missing lessons due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Since then it’s been a pleasure to talk to many of you and it’s been great to see how well you have all helped each other here.
So it is with some sadness that I must announce that the time has come for the server to close, something I have been considering for some time now. It was never my intention to keep this server going forever – indeed it has existed for far longer than I had ever planned it to as a result of all of your contributions. But there are some fundamental concerns about operating the server alongside the other courses that I am offering as the user base of Mathsaurus has grown to cover courses for a wide group of students that I have concluded are not possible to resolve on this platform.
I hope that you will all continue to benefit from the online courses and YouTube content and that you will keep following it in this new phase of its development as I have lots of exciting new courses and content coming over the next year – much of which as ever will be available free of charge.
The server will remain here for a few more days with this message displayed and will then be closed. I want to take this chance to thank the mods in particular for their incredible efforts here and their commitment to supporting students through lockdown and beyond, without whom this announcement would have come much sooner.
